The energy sold by the producer to YES ENERGY is remunerated based on the indexation to the hourly marginal price of the daily market. Therefore, the amount paid for each kWh will depend on when the energy produced is injected into the grid.

YES ENERGY calculates the exact value every hour taking into account the amount of energy produced that is injected into the grid.

By selling the energy produced that you do not consume, you make your production unit more profitable and also contribute to a more sustainable energy market.

To enter into a contract for the sale of surplus energy with YES ENERGY, the production facility must have an installed capacity of more than 50kW (YES ENERGY requirement) per production unit.

To be able to JOIN and register you will require the following data and documents:

- NIPC (companies) or NIF (individual)
- Active code for accessing the permanent certificate (companies)
- IBAN and validated proof
- Consumer CPE (consumption delivery point code)
- Production CPE (production delivery point code)
- Production unit interconnection connection level
- Document/letter from the Distribution Network Operator on Bidirectional Counter
- Production or Exploration License

Distributed production is the activity of centralized production of electric energy, which can be sold for its own consumption. There are two types of distributed production units:

Small Unit (UPP) where all production is sold to the electricity grid;

Production Unit for Self-Consumption (UPAC), where excess energy produced can be injected into the grid;

Yes, the producer must have registered business activity at the Tax Authority and must also know what is your regime VAT type.

If you have no activity, you must:

1º Start activity in TA
2º Add CAE 35113 (electricity production) in the declaration of commencement of activity
3º Know the VAT framework

If you already have activity you must:

1º Inform the TA of the exercise of another activity with CAE 35113 (electricity production)
2º Know the VAT framework
